1-2 Bike and OV-fiets

Recently 1-2 Bike developed the new interface for the Bikedispenser for renting the Dutch NS OV-fiets. Very soon we will install some locations with 1-2 Bike software end interface for the Dutch bike rental system, OV-fiets.

Not only the interface and software from the 1-2 Bike system will be used, but also the 1-2 Bike bicycle will be placed in the Bikedispenser as a OV-fiets. With some small adjustments we made our rental bike ready to be handlded in the new Bikedispenser.

What also makes this project unique is that we combine this bike rental location with bike lockers. At the same bike sharing interface it is possible to rent a locker for 1 to 3 days. This makes the popular bicycle locker rental in The Netherlands more flexible and easy to use for eveybody.

With these innovative projects 1-2 Bike proves that we are building a flexible hybrid city bike rental system that works and improves the mobility mix.
